Running Hot, but not really...
Hey guys.. wierd problem (as all of my problems seem to be..)
Had a new thermostat put in the car shortly after purchase.
Car runs @ 160-180 on the gage after it's warmed up.
After it's run for a while and i go under the hood, everything is wayyyy too hot to even touch... inclusive of the air cleaner. When it's hot like this and i take the oil cap off, i get smoke out of it.
help?

I'm not sure about the smoke thing, but if you have a chrome air cleaner it's going to be hot to touch. Chrome doesn't dissapate heat that well, not too mention it's sitting on the carb which isn't cool either.
