New Guy here

Hey guys, I just joined and I wasnt sure where to post so this one looked to be the best. I am from the chicagoland area and I currently own a 1989 Turbo Trans Am. I love 3rd gens I think they are one of the nicest styled trans ams. I also had a blown 87 Formula 350. I am a huge pontiac enthusist so if anyone has any questions I may be able to help you, especially with the 20th ann. turbo trans am. I also have a 2002 collector edition trans am that I just picked up a few months ago. And IMO I believe that my 89 is still faster, and these LS1s have some power to them!! My daily driver is a 97 Grand Prix. (see a trend here) I look forward to talking fellow third gen enthusits as well.

Bah, they all look the same... you can have it in any color you like as long as it's white... :sillylol: j/k

Man I'd give an arm and a leg for one of those... it's an auto so I could do w/o my left leg and arm...

Welcome aboard!

BTW there is no doubt in most of our minds that the TTA was the fastest Thirdgen and there is no contesting it's faster than your CE Trans Am...

Hey guys thank you for the welcome!! It sounds like there is a great group of guys in here and I look forward to chating and sharing information with you all. I am glad to see that there are other TTA members as well. I do have pictures of my car but I am unsure as to go about loading them into the site. Maybe one of ya guys can tell me what to do. I just fix cars and make them faster, Im not a computer guy Let me know when any of you guys do any get togethers. I am always down for a car show or just a big get together to go shoot some pool and have a few beers and share some mustang a$$ rippin stories

Hey ATH, is that tranny isn't stock for that engine for it to be a 82 is it. I thought they had the 4 speed manuals, nor 350's were put intot he cars yet.

Anyways, how is it holding up cause I'm putting a 350 in soon and wonder how long before my t5 transmission explodes.
