why did my post get locked

ok, i just want to know why my post about a 91 turbo talon got locked. it was on the subject, racing, and i asked how fast it was. if this is off subject, i dont know what is on subject, it had to do with the numbers this car was putting out and things of that nature, i know it's not a third gen but, neither are a lot of the cars asked about on here. i am just kind of baffled about how and why the post was locked.

if anyone has information about a 91 turbo talon awd 5spd, plz relpy, and if this post get's locked could i plz have some explaination about why a post about racing and theoretical at that get's locked.

thanks

Are you racing it? I don't see you say that you are... Did you already race it? You didn't mention anything about it... This is the street racing board, not google.com... I dunno that's just my idea why it might have been locked, could be wrong. Try PMing a mod.

Your post probibly got locked because it had noting to do with racing or thirdgen f-bodys. If you would have worded it "This guy in a 91 4wd Talon turbo wants to race, do i have a chance in my third gen?" It wouldn't have got locked, and you would have got more info.

I locked your post because it had nothing to do with 3rd gens....but 92 superramm is right, I wouldn't have locked it if you would have worded it different. However I will let this one stay open now that you have explained....

idrag2, I must have done the same thing with my LG4 vs. LO3 post (which is faster?), because it got moved to Engine/Tech. I was trying to find out which is the faster car because my cousin has a 91 RS, and I may be running an LG4-powered Z against him. I guess I should have worded it different. My fault.

Do I have to answer that? Listen I am just doing my job, its kinda like being a repo man, no one likes them but someone has to do it. If there is a post that does not have anything to do with 3rd gen, or street racing...I will have to do what has to be done

That's weird, I wasn't sure why it got moved. Maybe one of the other moderators did it.

I hope I'm just taking them the wrong way...I really like this place. It's one of the few places I get to let my hair down and have fun.
