Nice races tonight
I knew it was going to be a great night for racing, cold, clear, dry. I was cruising with the porsche and got in two good races,
The first, I saw this kid at school with his civic si, with all those great upgrades, you know, huge fart can, intake, euro lights, all the basics. I pulled a quik u turn, sped past him reving it up. He passes the car in front of him to hit up a red light. We open our windows....
Him "Common' lets see what that little Porsche is good for"
I accept, and the light turns green, i wasn't ready for it, and being the first race in the car i started off slow as hell cause it has NO acceleration at low revs, I catch up to him at 35 mph, pass him and the light in front of us turns red. I call out
"common man my start sucked ***, let's go again!" he accepted. I burned all the way through first slammed it into second and chirped it out. Smashed into third and KILLED him, slowing down at about 75 mph. Luckily i have traction control, it works good as hell, and it was gripping while i was burning.
I never knew my car had so much *****. I have only had it for a month and havn't really screwed around with it much.
Anyway, my next race was a mystery... I turned at this light and notice a HUGE cloud of smoke, smelled it, it was rubber. I sped up to 60, got next to a mustang... that must have been it, cause he sped up to me yelled something, i dropped it into third, and smashed the peddle, we were neck and neck at about 85 mph, the light turned red and we slowed down, he turned (*****) and i went home.......
I'm pretty sure it was a 6 banger. definantly had to be 5 speed considering the huge cloud of burn. It was a brand new one, but what i was wondering was, could have been a GT? I don't think a 6 could have produces a cloud like that. I know my car kicks *** at accelerating from high speeds, but good enough to be a match for a GT?? probably not, right?
