94 stealth vs 88 IROC?
Hey guys, a quick question, I have an 88 IROC Z convertible with the LB9 and auto tranny, my friend has a 94 Stealth with teh standard 3.0L engine and auto tranny with also no mods to it. Now based on the numbers, i have 195 hp stock and he has 165 hp stock, meaning that i should beat him quite easily right? but i'm not sure but his car is most likely lighter than mine since i got the convertible. does anybody have any predictions on who would win if we were to race approximately 1/4 mile and who would get the jump off the line?? thanks guys

HP isn't everything. The hp/weight ratio is really important , not too mention the power curve of the motor. Though I still think you'll take him.
