my friend and I were leaving work, and we pulled up next to each other at a stop sign. He's got an '89 T-bird SC. We're been wanting to line them up for a while, but just never got around to it, so we both nailed it off the line. We stayed even about halfway through the intersection, then I pulled on him, and got about a carlength or two before I stopped (it was a short race). First time I've really pushed my car hard for a distance, and man was it fun. When I put my foot to the floor (a second after I launched and was rolling) the tires squealed and the car tried to go sideways, I never thought it would do that! We were just racing for fun on our way to get something to eat, so there was nothing on the race, but he said he'll take me next time
. Just felt like posting my first real race

.Yeah, guess not having a sig. screws that up
. I was in the Iroc, (88, 350, hardtop). His car is the 3.8, but its non-supercharged, so we knew how the race would go even with the mods he's got (mainly bolt-ons), but we were just out having fun, so it didn't matter.

Sounds like a good race. Good kill

If it's non-supercharged, then it's not an SC. But if you do come across an SC those ****'s are pretty quick. One of the kids at my school had one and it was pretty modded. I pulled up to a light with him one night and wasted his a$$ (in my 305). I prolly only won because I got AWESOME traction. There was another SC taunting me one night by following me right on my a$$. I would've gladly spanked him if it weren't for the fact that I was delivering pizzas at the time and I didn't want a 24" Supreme all over my back windows. I was also pouring out so I would've just looked stupid spinning sideways. Anyway, good race.
