why is it everyone see my firebird expects me to have to insanly modded 350 motor? every other day some kid in a mustang gt wants to race me...i have a stock 2.8... it doesnt even sounds like a v8 to me...but everytime im out cruising around and i stop at a light people want to rev up there motors and race me.... i want a big window decal thats reads "i have a v6 and im slower than your v8"....

oh and i wanna say im proud to own a v6....im not trashing it at all...im already saving up to do the 3.4 boogie..

 

They probably know you have a V6, but a race with an 8 would be too close and may bruise their egos. Hey if they race you and miss a shift they may not lose, whereas if they were running a V8 they would have to run perfectly. It's the same kids who pick on ricers, they have to win!!!
