i recently purchased an 88 firebird formula that was an original 305 tpi with a t-5. it now has a 355 tpi with 22k miles and a dynomax exhaust and an slp airfoil, hybertech thermomaster, hypertech fan switch, ws6 suspension, and a 9 bolt borg warner that had 3.45 gears and now has a 2.77 gear. the second day i had the car i absolutely wasted a 98 dodge dakota 5.9 r/t. i beat him by about 3 cars and i spun for about 15 feet and tried shifting to fast into third so it took me a second to get it in 3rd. if i would have hooked and shifted smoothly, i would have murdered his azz!! so i was wondering how fast this car may be in the 1/4 mile. i would guess a low to mid 14, but i dunno. i think he said his truck is good for a mid 15 sec 1/4 mile run. any info would be helpful. tia

 

I would agree, low 14's. Those Dakota trucks are good off the line, but then fall on their face. Low to mid 14's for you I'd say......
