i got my a** kicked
i was at a stop light when a 2002 trans am pulls up...i talk to the guy for a second and he said lets race so im like sure maybe i can run with him...when the light turned green you could tell the gears in my car helped because i jumped on him but by the time we were to 40 he had a car lenght and he just kept pulling. by the time we shut down he have five car lenghts...i'be never been beat this bad...i was kinda embarrased, but he guy was cool. it had a nhra decal on the front side fender looked factory but not sure. was this an special model cause i know i shouldnt have had my *** kicked this bad. thanks for the help guys

if i remember my venture to the potiac website i beleive there is a nhra trans am....i dont think however it has n e "performance" enhancements though

on the rear wheel dino with only exhaust(meaning no headers) and the air lid and K&N these cars are pulling 320 HP at the rear wheels thats 400 at the engine
GM underrates those cars by like 30+ horse

saw one at the dealer, thought it had performance mods too. If its just styling GM marketing people are genius's, slap some emblems on and have a special edition that people want.
any way, whats your set-up. I hung with a 2,000 Z-28 from the line till about 80 then he wallked my like I was still.....that was with the 350, headers, cat, cat-back, chip, 2.73's and stock tranny.
I guess with my set-up now I'll walk them when I get it back.

i have a 355 that i built....it was dynoed last year at about 330 horse and 380 ft/lbs of torque with stock manafolds and an edlebrock carb. but since then i think i might have cracked a piston ring...im checking it out right now. i have headers, exaust, and put on a new holley carb this year. my engine hasnt been tuned beacuse of all the stuff were doing trying to figure out whats wrong with the engine. i talk to the guy after and he said that he had slp exhaust the from the factory and he had and intake done(im wondering if he put the new ls6 style intake manfold on cause he really wouldnt talk about what he did to the intake). but ill tell ya what if i ever have a shot at getting an ls1 engine or car im taking it after this.
