86 Trans Am Vs 97 Camero RS

Im wondering who would cross the 1/4mi line first?...
Stock T/A with 5speed and L69 intake, K&N, hi flow cat and choped exhaust against a 97 Camero RS thats lowered and thats about it,... maybe K&N. What do the RS's of that year run on the 1/4mi... ( I run 15.5s consistantly. )

What the hell is a Camero?? I take it you mean a Camaro.

Now, if you run mid 15s, and the Camaro is a stick, I'd say it will be a driver's race.

That should be the first year they put that 3800 series in f-bodies... Before that I think they had 3.4's in them, which were pretty slow..

I think if you can put a good distance on him from the start, he may not catch up... But if you both get good launches he will probly beat you by a car length or so..
