My kills over the summer.
I thought I would share em since the car has been down for almost 3 months now *wipes tears away*.
Anyway...the setup. My friends and I all hangout in a bilo parking lot and all have badass cars (fury 3 with built 318, 79 TA, 81 Camaro with 454, 93 TA, 89 Z, 96 cobra, 86 GT, 70 stang with 7 sec (1/8) 302). We all hate ricers and what not so everytime we see an import or a ***** we give them a 5 grand F*uck you salute. 5GFYS!! Basically we get in our cars, start em, and rev the sh*t outta them. So we're all standing there talking and I here a BOV (blow off valve) go off. I look across the street and theres and mid 90s eclipse in the bank ATM. So.........I gave the 5GFYS. He shoots across the street looking like a drunk and pulls in front of my car and starts talking sh*t while his friend holds $200 out of the sunroof. My friend jumps in and we go out onto the road right in front of bilo and race. 5 runs........5 wins
. I race him from a dead stop. 2 cars at 60. Then from a 30 roll (he wanted to because of some lame excuse about shifting) 3 cars at 70 ( distance is approx). and this goes on 2 more times. Then we race from like 50 to whatever. My speedo only goes to 85 but The other guy said he was doing 120 and I was waaaaaaaay ahead. We pull back in the parking lot and the guy started talking and going on about how my car was the fastest 3rd gen he's raced. (he must not get out much). The car was an upgraded GS. Had aftermarket manifold, T-3/T-4 Hybrid turbo (I think T-3 is exhuast side and T-4 is intake)HKS wastegate set at 10 pounds, gretti (spelling) BOV, and the list goes on.
The other kill was the UNbeatable 454 camaro. After coming home for summer break and hangin with the gang again I kept hearing everyone talk about how fast my friends car was. So I ask him what he did. He said mild rebuild and he really didn't think It got any faster (very modest guy). Well a little later coming back from the pool hall we ran. The first time we ran for some reason my back tires brook loose and I just blazed the tires through the intersection. I let off and caught him at the next light. We ran again and were neck in neck though first, I had 1/2 a car through second and about 1 1/2 by the end of third.
Man I miss my car. Well I just had to lift my spirits a little.
BTW- I forgot to put that the little b*astard in the eclipse never gave me that $200........but I don't think he was being serious.

He's runnin the same setup as me almost, yet he's way faster.
He's got the RPM intake, dual flows, and 3:42s now. Correct me if I'm wrong No4n...

Mark pretty much nailed it. Heres a list of what I had then..
LM-1 350 8.5:1 comp
465 lift 224 dur. 114 lobe sep crane cam
stock everything else
Headers with duals, an H-pipe, and flows before the differential. turn downs cut off
Performer RPM intake and Performer carb 600 cfm
700r4-stock
3.42 rear
There are a bunch of little things like Kenny brown SFCs, high volt coil, etc.
with an intake manifold leak ( I only had 9 inches of vac at idle!!) and a header leak I ran a best of 9.1 at 77 mph (1/8) thats equiv. to a high 13 very low 14 1/4.
I am currently installing..
fully ported and polished (includes bowl blend, port match, valve job, swirl polished valves, etc) 305 heads
port matched intake
aluminum radiator
transmission cooler
MSD superconductor wires
and 1/2 inch fuel line
I'm really hoping to break into the mid 8's with this. But we'll see.
