raced a new MR2
raced one on the freeway and each time I tried to pull on him we just sat dead even.
it wasn't which car was faster or anything just who got the jump.
we would race from 60-80 or so and each time the same results
how fast are these cars and does anyone have any stats on them
I figure it was N/A and a 90 or newer (not the boxy style but more ferarri looking)

The '91-'95 MR2, which is my favorite out of the three generations, had these engines:
2.2L 4 Cylinder 135 hp Gas
* Horsepower: 135 @ 5400rpm
* Torque: 145 @ 4400rpm
* Weight: 2,657 lbs
2.0L 4 Cylinder 200 hp Turbo Gas
* Horsepower: 200 @ 6000rpm
* Torque: 200 @ 3200rpm
* Weight: 2,885 lbs
I think the turbo one runs high 14s to low 15s. I would guess the n/a version to be somewhere in the high 15s or low 16s.
Sounds like a good race between you and the MR2.
