Last night i was out with my friend in his WRX and we had a race lined up against a mid 90's bubbleback civic. They raced and the civic jumped him early so we didn't even bother. I decided ahh i'll go home and get the firehawk and give this kid a run at it. He agreed and we ran it and I beat him by about 2-3 cars. We all went back to a parking lot nearby and about 4-5 other cars showed up and were hanging around with us. He mentioned his cousin has a notchback mustang that will beat me. So i said alright have him come down. The guy shows up in the mustang and all he had done was a catback and K&N's and d/r's and it was a 5 speed. We go and line it up at the usual 1/4 spot where we race. I'm lined up and he's a bit back getting ready to heat up his tires. As soon as he starts to leave a burnout. I see the boys in blue coming up right behind him. Me,my friend in the wrx,and two other civics all just decided we were getting out of there. And did so pretty quickly. About 5-10 minutes later the guy in the stang calls us and says all he got was a $50 ticket for excessive noise. I guess I finally had some luck and the cop decided he didn't like mustangs but that was way too close of a call for me

 

yeah, lucky he didnt come sooner. otherwise, you'd be looking at a speeding and/or racing ticket.

I am that's why i'm glad i didn't get it..even worse i'm a college student with an LS1.

Sometimes i wish i didn't have the car. But then i get in and drive it and all that non-sense is out of my head. And BTW the kid I raced in the civic wasn't your typical *****. He had a worked integra GSR motor in his car along with some other upgrades. He was telling me he has a turbo kit on order right now. I'm interested in seeing how that turns out. Last bubbleback turbo civic I raced handed me my ***. He ran a 13.2@112 to my 13.9 my first time at the track with the hawk.

 

yeah some times the boys in blue are cool with us around my way, than other times they are not!!
