Headlight won't close and no dash lights
Today I replaced my headlight motors in my 1988 Pontiac Trans Am GTA. After replacing the motors everything was working correctly. While driving my right turn signal showed it was not working i replaced both rear bulbs and it started working then I went to turn on the headlights they flipped up and came on when I turned them off they wouldn't close no power seemed to be going to the motors I lowered them manually and tried again they open but again wouldn't close so I tried turning on only my parking lights and they wouldn't turn on no dash lights or parking lights the dimmer switch still works I have a feeling it might be the headlight switch please help thanks.

First thing to check is the tail light fuse. A blown tail light fuse will cause the symptoms you describe. A failed Headlight module will also cause this symptom.
