Those years of Mustangs are even sadder than the lt1-body v-6 Camaros. Considering that the Stang is an auto, I would say he would hit low/mid 16's or so w/o mods. That is what I have seen the average driver hit, of course the guy did have a 4'' cowl hood, which was pretty funny after seeing him run. They have 150 hp, and 215 torque and weigh 3100 or so w/o driver. So I would say that the Mustang might break low 16's. Now if it was a bright yellow, than that adds 150 hp.

Now that I think about, the Brute Force has 5 more hp than a Mustang.

The only way the Camaro would loose, if the Camaro driver had a heart attack at the wheel, but still if he kept his foot on the gas he would win.

Actually I wouldn't even bother racing him, it would be a complete waste of gas. Those 94-98 stangs aren't much faster than my 92 3.1. So, think of it this way, would you be afraid of losing to a 3.1 RS? LOL no way you'll kill him by a ridiculous amount.

1997 with those mods is slow. A 1999-2000 with those mods could be in the low 15s high 14s with a 5-speed. With an auto it would be solidly in the mid 15s! The new Mustangs and the older ones (V6) are not even close as far as peformance. Like the 3.8 and the 3.4!!!

The newer ones would be a good run, but the older one would be all yours!

Mustang 3.8L = 140HP

Intake (really just a chrome tube) = + 0.5HP = 140.5HP

Borla side exhaust = - 20ft/lbs TQ = less torque than my grandmothers gerry-cart

I don't understand this, but as far as the auto vs stick, there is no contest a stick Mustang will walk circles around an auto, no questions!

The V6s had 195 I believe and ran around 15.5 stock! With those mods I would say he would be good for a 15.0-15.4!

You should be right around there also, making an interesting race!

V6 Mustangs of that year were nothing as a performance car. According to my calculations, unless those mods added alot, he's running 17s. He probably would be stock.
That year had 150 hp, and when the power went up, 190. Something like that.
A stock 97 would have his hands full against my Topaz or my Crown Vic.
