last night i was crusin the belt parkway....im doin 55 in the center lane..i was just crusin and waitng for somethin intresting to happen =)....well headind east i was at the cropsey ave exit and i look in my mirror and i see a car closing real fast...i thought nothing of it at first cuz people usually drive fast on it at night...he passes me doin around 80 guessin...and i see the taillights of a 2000 sts...it took me about 10 seconds to make the decision to cathc up and play....i downshift her to 4th and drop the hammer....i cose the distance extremely fast...i get to his passenger door and look over at him.. at first i thought it was a "g-dog" cuz he was drivin in the back seat..he looks over at me and floors it..and im buried against the floorboard...we are neck and neck from 75 to 100...and theres traffic entering the parkway...so i get on the binders to avoid from parking my nose up someones ***...we clear the traffic and go again this time from about 50..we get to 110 and another entrance ramp..this time someone did dive out in front of me and i locked up the drivers front wheel..thats when i decided "ok ive had enough"....i got off at the same exit as he did and bsed with him for a minute...thats when i found out it was a 2000..he told me "damn that thing runs pretty good" and i replied "**** that thing is fast"....the light turned green and we went are seperate ways..

those sts's are quick cars..i thought i was gonna get beat but neither of us pulled on each other

 

Yeah. those STS's are fast. My friend has a '93 STS..pearl white with JET BLACK windows. Very pimp car. He used to own a stang so when he got the caddy he wanted to see what it could do. We went to new england dragway and he pulled a 14.8 @ 94MPH. Fast car...plush ride! :hail:

They are very quick out of the hole. My friend's '93 has traction control and you nail it off the line and the bugger hauls! He stays right next to my Mustang until about 30MPH and then I pull away slowly. He paid 6000 for his '93 but book value is higher on the car

I juist bought the STS's competitor..a '93 Mark8. This car hauls *** too. 4.6L DOHC V8 with 280HP...things got ***** and ride awesome! Can't wait to get my buddy to run me in my Mark 8

 

yea the traction control probly helps quite a bit....more hten likely id have to play catch up...i hate doin that lol
