Lost to an Oldsmobile Alero

I was driving down the street when i came to a light, just smoking a cigarette and enjoying the day. An Alero pulls up and throws revs. Now this car is not done up at all, and looks and sounds stock.
I take my last drag of my cigarette and flick it out the window. I had one hand on the shifter and started to ease the clutch while spinning the RPMs to a street tire friendly 2500. I was barely able to exhale the last drag of the cig before the light turned. I let out the clutch and heard 2 chirps before the tires grabbed. I had him out of the hole and immediately shifted to second. We were about even and I shifted to third hearing the grind of bad synchros and a slight shirp from the tires. Yet, all I saw was tailllights as this alero pulled on me bad from start to finish.

Actually this never happened, but since my car is currently going through some parts trouble (READ SIG), I figured i would daydream a bit. I wouldn't want to lie in my favor so that's why i lost. I guess i am just practicing my writing for when I have some kills.

How was the intro BTW?

I say quit smokin for your health for one, and to respect your car for another.

Alero's never had 8's, it's the twin of the Grand Am.

You might be thinking AURORA ....
