I just got my rebuilt 350TPI out of the shop and had a XE268 CompCam put in. I know that stock I would get max hp at 4400 and torque at 3200 revs but now it seems faster down low in the 2-3000 range. Does anyone know what rpm I would get the most power/torque, or really when to shift the gears to get best performance with this setup? also have tes headers if that matters. Any recomendations?

Well, the powerband of that cam is about 1600-5600 rpms, I have the same one, however, you have TPI, if that hassn't been touched, they don't breathe past 4500 rpms, so shift around that.

I noticed you had an airfoil--do you think it is worth the 50 bucks they go for or would I be better off saving my money for something else like a chip or hiflow exhaust?
