This was back when I had my 92 RS and knew practically nothing about cars, even less than I do now. I had just done headers, cat-back and an open air cleaner and man I thought that thing was hot sh*t. So, I asked a friend of mine who had a '88 5.0 GT bolt-on car to a race. Yep, I challenged a foxbody 5.0 to race with my LO3 car. Well, it wasn't pretty to say the least. By the time I hit the top of first he already had a car on me and continued to pull quickly away from me. That was quite a learning experience for me and one of the reasons I got into this whole, 'making your car fast' thing. Best thing I ever did was wreck the RS and buy my Iroc.

I know his car is fast, so I decide to play with him and jump a bit. Well, I hammered it, pulled a bit, and then WHOOOSH he flies by me like I was in reverse...bastard.

He's got a Vortec 350 that he built off a $100 short block. GMPP intake, Holley 750 dp, 4" Mufflex (what a sound! ), and a built TH350 with 3.23's.

That car is quick....he never takes it to the track, though...my guess is mid/high 12's.
Dude I have seen both of your cars at Speedtek. I was there about 2 weekends ago. Nice vehicles on both counts.
