MY 86 with a 89 L98. vs. 03/02? infinity G35 coupe.
i think it has more Hp but not close to as much torque.
how close would it be. hes my good friend ( in a band together) and he just got it for xmas and he cant take it past 4k rpms for 800miles. so when he can i want to race. what do you think?

I think you'll pull this one off. Race from a stop if you can launch.

 

I think its a close race. Those newer Infinity's are pretty quick. It would be a classic "stock import trying an american v8" type of race though.

 

I'm gonna give the edge to the infinity on this one... Don't know a whole lot about them, but i hear they are supposed to be good for low 14's. It should be a good race, but in the end i think he'll be ahead...

the g35 is basically a fancy 350z from what i hear, so expect it to have sim. #'s just a bit slower
