kill tonight - my '92 vs. 95? stang
I have a completely stock '92 3.1L V-6, usually can't beat alot of cars unless it's a real short race, cause the only thing decent about the V-6's is the low end torque. Tonight I was at the stoplight with the windows down and music up, just enjoying driving around, and a bada$$ comes up next to me in a 95(?) mustang, completely tricked out with aftermarket hood, 17-18" chrome rims, awesome custom paint job, and subwoofers booming. He glanced over at me (it was hard to tell that he looked at me cause his left arm was up in front of his face on the stearing wheel
) and I nodded. It's only about 1/8 mile from stoplight to stoplight but I had him by a car lenth before I slowed down. I'm sure he only had a V-6, and I'm sure something went wrong in his car for me to beat him, but still, IMO nothing feels better than beating a car whose exterior is completely tricked out, looks extremely fast, but when it comes down to it, doesn't pack a punch at all. Well, that's one of my best kills, so I thought I'd let yall know...

Yea, I have heard a couple of people claim that the 3.1 Camaro V-6 cars actually keep up a little better than the 3.8 140 horsepower Mustang cars do. I think they hit their peak power at a higher RPM though, not sure though.
