Took out a second gen camaro, but lost to a newer style prelude!

First two races with the second gen camaro was at a 40 mph roll, i started pulling alittle during each race. The third race was from a light i started pulling right after i stopped spinning i let off like 60 mph.

Feeling all good i decided to race a prelude, which i saw earlier when i was in my friends car, so i knew it was pretty fast. Well we raced at a light and i started spinning (i was in drive) so the guy pulled a half a car on me and we stayed like that for like a 1/8 th mile, could of been longer but it didnt seem like i was going to catch him anytime soon.

Pretty good night, cant wait to put my suspension mods on, then i should be able to hook.

Good luck, losing to a Prelude is no fun.

Good work beating up on tired, old muscle (not kidding). Losing to a prelude is no good though. I raced a prelude and I beat it back when all I had were the gears and exhaust. Good run, just pray the second gen doesn't go modding his car. Then you might have a problem.

well the second gen, had regular street tires, but 3.73's, and a modded 327 or 350, with exhaust; its sounded pretty bad a$$.
he didnt have posi though, but i had more low end and top end then him.

as for the prelude i was recenty informed he was maybe running nitrous and i know exahust. i didnt stop after the race because i couldnt catch up to his window

a stock prelude i dont think would pull on me, if it can then i certainly need some engine mods next.

Doesn't it suck when you can't hook? Have ya dropped that front sway bar yet?

Man sorry to hear about the prelude. There is one that runs around here that has ridiculously loud exhaust, you know the type. I continually bash his car back to the stone age and he still comes back for more...get hookin and beat his a$$!
