Sorry but i beat another 3rd gen member yesturday after work. But first car specs. My car is an 82 z28 with a 305 with some work done to it(mods in the sig), His car is an 87 GTA with a 350 tpi, 3.73 posi rear, edlebrock headers, hooker catback, ram air 2 hood with ramair set up with K&N, also he doesnt have the stock l98 350 in there. he bought the car molested by people. first it had the stock 350, then that blew, then they put in a 305, the the last owner put in a remanufactured 350 from autozone in there and thats what it has now.

So anyway, as we get on the highway were cruzing for like a min before we ever so happenly hit a red light, clear road ahead of us for like 2miles and no cops. so i figured okay what the hell why not see how i do.

As my friend sits there he brake torques his car up past 1200rpms becuz he has a bad bog under that. like a few seconds before the light turns green i brake torque my car up a bit(dunno how high) and as it turns green we both went. We were spinning tires and were dead even for 1st gear and by then end of 1st beginning of 2nd, i so nicely start walkin past his car and as i got up into higher rpms i keep on pullin. then into 3rd gear there was no hope for him. as i got like id say 2-3 cars on him i hit my hazards to show i won and the race was over.

Now his car sould have kicked myass or atleast been even atleast but since he messed something up and caused about $1100 in repairs and the damn thing still runs like crap but its actually running instead over being on a flat bed.

Id just like to tell everyone here about my first kill with my car on the street. i dont like to street race at all. that probably will be the last, for a long time since i only like to race at the track(even though i havent done it much).

yea and he paid 3k for it. it ran okay when he got it but its gone down hill since then. i only paid $500 for mine and ive done few things to it. and one of the origninal owners changed the tranny, rebuilt the 305, took the computer off and converted it to non-cc and put the th-350 tranny in my car and that was like 10yrs ago. and he knows what he was doin. i think when i got motor work and stuff done ill go to him to have it done since the drag cars he works on i would cream my self. he has a motor that has like 2000hp sittin in his garage. it was in a buick with a full frame and twisted it. he took the motor out and scraped the car.

but yea my friend is goin to more then 90% surelly be sellin the GTA. me and my brother and a few others told him to sell it and buy a low milage stock 3rd gen thats in good shape and go from there becuz he will know it wasnt messed with.

and this is his second 3rd gen he has boughtn thats been molested.
