Ran a new GT down 97 today...

flowing thru traffic on my way to annapolis this new mustang GT was pacing me the whole way. i thought he wanted to run and had a friend with him but for about 6 miles or so it was no go. so finally about 2 or 3 miles from annapolis city limits traffic finally clears and i hear him drop back in 4th gear and i drop down into drive since we were doing 80mph. we both punch it him first. he hung with me dead even till about 95mph - 100mph then once my rpms got above 3500 i started to pull away. i shut down at 120 mph and he was atleast 6 car lengths back. we toyed a few more times but nothing serious because we were in traffic basically just ego tripping eachother out he gave me the thumbs up and i did the same. i think he was alittle shocked that i beat him and his friend probably egged him on. don't know if it was completely stock but my guess is that it was. i know these cars have 260 hp and around 280 lbs of torque.

on my way home i seen a sweet ferrari. don't know which one it was. it had a really pointed nose with clear light covers with the lights resembling a 280 Z. it was sweet. didn't get to play with him cause we were in rush hour traffic.

Last week i seen 2 guys getting in a porsche 911 Turbo. it was an 88 i think. had the big whale tail on it and the more boxier body. still a sweet car. so i pulled up to him while they were getting in and i asked "is it fast?" he said yeah. i said "oh, wanna take it out on 95 and see what she will do?" the passenger looked at the driver trying to edge him on and the driver said "No" oh well i'll see him sometime soon since that car is always up by my G/F's house. maybe i'll catch him leaving work one day

i only keep it in tune. did the free mods cut box, maf screens, and TB Bypass. it had an airfoil although i know that don't really help much. i still wanna get my muffler eliminators.

i wanna put these muffler eliminators on with a new Y pipe.

$139.99 PR.

Good Looking/Good Sounding Free-Flow Muffler

2 1/2" Diameter Chrome Tips

KBD Targa Mufflers give 1984-90 Corvettes a deep and throaty, sensuously powerful sound. In addition, their sleek design improves the look of your car's undercarriage. KBD free-flow mufflers are bolt-on items which hang in the stock location. They are made of heavy gauge steel with chrome tailpipe ends. The KBD mufflers have a 3 year limited warranty. Each set comes with installation instructions.

then with a cam, 1.6 RR's and the new intake i bought i think i could see high 12's easy low 13's and i'd be happy (for now)

i gotta get back to the track but need new meat on the rear's. getting bald...lol but i think she might have a 13.8 in it. last year my best run was 14.24 at 97 mph and my best 60' was 2.04 now that i know how to launch this car i think i can hit a high 13 sec run.

we shall see in a month or 2 when i get some new meat. BTW i'm going to Pittsburgh with my G/F this weekend

BTW i seen an off road exhaust for C4's from mid america i think. (can't check their site is sucking ***** right now giving me errors ) for 250 bucks! just add mufflers and hook them up to your shorties and your good to go. it's all one piece! i've been thinking on getting it even has an H pipe built in. when the site gets back to normal i'll see if i can find it again.
