on the way home from the track last night, i noticed ahead of my brother and i was a LS1 Z28. my brother had run him earlier that night (he went 13.4) and decided to see if he wanted a shot at his Vette from a highway punch. keep in mind my brother didnt spray during the track run with this Camaro, so the dude had no idea he was packing a 75 shot.

so Jeff pulled up next to the Z and they started talking. my brother wanted him to slow down so he could leave in 2nd gear instead of 3rd, but the Camaro guy was adamant about leaving in 3rd (this is where LS1s are absolutely SICK). then the guy began to get a little arrogant, saying "it doesnt matter what gear im in, ill smoke you either way". to which my brother replied while purging his nitrous "uhh, it DOES matter". my brother later told me the look on the dudes face when he saw the purging N20 stream was priceless

so im behind them (filming of course) when they punch it from a 70mph jump. both cars are neck and neck as they screamed past 100mph! they stayed into it a bit more and finally shut down at about 120 or so with neither car coming out on top. damn those LS1s are brutal on the highway! the guy never really slowed down or waved or anything. oh well, Jeff and i made our exit and continued home. hopefully that LS1 owner learned not to underestimate his opponents. you never know what the guy next to you has

Sounds good, but what times did he run without the Nitrous? Guess the LS1 was a pretty quick car to pull on Vette with spray (not pull but run even with).

the LS1 Z28 was running 13.4s at 110mph.

my brothers best pass (w the 75 shot) before he blew the trans was a 13.0 a 110mph. off the bottle he has run 13.8 at 101mph

both cars have the same trap speed, which was why neither pulled on the other. the Z was lucky my brother wasnt packing the 125 shot

i didnt use the digital function when i recorded it, thus i cant put it up on the net. my camcorder kinda sucks in the dark, so i tend to just use the analog tapes when recording at night. if i ever get any races during the day, ill use the digital stick and post some of those

i'm not sure if your vid card allows it but you could record back to your computer via a vcr. i know thats how one of my friends record gaming sessions. but i don't actually know how to do it so i couldn't help you there.

just saying it is possible to do it
