0-60mph in 3.5 seconds. What a ride!

I got a chance to ride in a Lingenfelter modified Z06 Corvette. Talk about brute accelleration and raw power. This specific vette had 530 Horses at the crank and just under 500 rwhp. :hail: :hail:

I was at a car show on July 26th with my digital car art business, (WDRdesign), and the owner of this vette ordered an artwork from me. I chatted with him for a good half hour about all the stuff done to his car. I then asked him what it would cost me to catch a ride.

Later that day he took me for a spin! (mind you I've never rode in a vette) We drove down a secluded road and he stopped in the middle of it. Checked for traffic and then proceeded to slam me back into my seat reaching 80mph in what seamed like a blink of an eye! It was very comparable to taking off in a jet. Once we got the the stop sign at the end of the street, the smell of burnt rubber caught up with us. I never heard the tires squal because they were spinning too fast. He proceeded to drive me back to the car show all the while demonstrating the power of that car.

I asked him if he ever caught a light with anyone wanting to race him. He said the only guys that ever want to race him are the Mustangs and Cobras. quote, "I just put down my window and tap my boost guage on my A-pillar. They don't want to run me then."

This guy also owns a 2000 SS camaro.

Here are some pictures of his bad Z06!

What a day that was!

i read on the corvette forums that a guy took his friend for a ride in a supercharged Z06 and on the interestate they ran into a new ferrari and they just obliterated the ferrari. then they pulled to the side and said you might have a better chance at my ZR1 vette which only had bolt ons. same thing though!

for the money that guys spent on the car and at ling i'd buy a 20k 375-405hp ZR1 and put in a 415 cid 600+ rwhp for 30k more and bingo it'll obliterate that ling Z06 and still have spare change for some beers :P

atleast thats what i want
