91 TA vs 97 Acura 3.0 CL

My roommate has a Acura CL, 3.0 accord motor, 200 hp and 195 tq stock. He just got a AEM cold air intake and now he's bragging that his car can take me. His car is stock otherwise, but he has some speakers in the trunk that might add some weight. I have a 91 Trans Am, 305 tuneport auto. Only things that I have done are a K&N and removed the airbox, and added a qtec cutout right before the cat. What do you guys think, will it be close?

Well I havent ever seen a 3.0 cl run, but I do know that I have seen a few of the 3.2 cl's bone stock running 15.0 at the track every now and then. If the 3.0 is the same your SOL. Your probably a mid 15 second car , and I wouldnt think removing the air box would help much , or maybe I just dont understand what your saying.Get some headers and a full exhaust and youll have him.Good luck.
