So I'm crusing home on H-1, just getting on at the Waipahu entrance, when I see headlights bearing down on me from behind. Bluish tint. Great. The wife was with me, after helping me and another friend change the coolant pump out. She says to stomp it. Hey, don't twist my arm or nothing, sure thing! He's already passing me when I floored it. The 350 TPI kicks down and emits a nice scream, I start pulling towards him. A few seconds later, I'm hitting ninety or so, passing him for all it's worth. It was fart-canned, typical Uncle Bens stuff. Felt good. I wondered why the wife let me. Had a Talon try to start something not five minutes later (guess he had seen the action) but I declined, having very little high-speed action under my belt. Not quite comfortable pushing anything over eighty yet. My knee starts to shake.
