Sprayed 305 or vortec 350

I'm out cruising and this guy pulls up in an 89 RS 305 TBI auto and wants to race. I tell him that I'm running a 350 carbed and he says that his is fuel injected. I knew somthing was up because he wanted to put 50 bucks on it but I'm not the gambling type so we keep driving. Turns out he is loaded with spray. Should I have raced him? Will his stone stock 305 tbi 2.73 auto run with me? My friend thinks I am dumb for not racing him but nitrous cars run alot better at 5500 feet than NA cars.

did he have anything more than the N02? I mean, 305's were really built to handle giggle gas right from the factory. Shoulda raced him..took his money. Then give him a ride home when he blew up his engine.

I love you Camaro guys! Always use caution on the street. Did he pop his hood? Where you there when he installed the nitrous kit on his "bone stock" Camaro? Can you tell the difference between a 305 or a 350 on nitrous just by looking at it? No, you can't! Use care out there or you might go home pissed and $50 short.

AH don't worry this guy doesn't really know anything about his car other than the fact that he said that someone installed his n20 kit. I recognize a stone stock, all emissions, oil all over the engine,305. He even admitted that he could hit 80 mph in 2nd gear which means 2.73's cause I can't even hit 80 in second and I have a 5800 rpm redline. Darn it I should have taken his cash!

Agreed you could have taken the cash.....beat him and then said lets do it again, if you wanted too and if the kid is stupid enough...two consecutive hits and his motor would have exploded.....ohh well do it next time you see him

I'll give you one more clue. Act like a dumb *** with your bone stock car. "It's an '84 Corvette with a 350 V8. Makes 350 hp from the factory. I put a computer chip in it and beat a '98 LS1 Camaro by two car lengths in a street race at 145 mph. The 350 makes way more power than the 346. The K&N filter added 50 more hp alone. Dude, you're gonna lose."

That inaccurate info helps to sucker in guys and take their money. Think Beavis and Butthead.
