what the hell was this?

ok...this is wierd. I was drivin my friends Formula 305, he just got new exhaust all the way back on it, and I wanted to drive it to see how it runs now. SO I was driving down the road, goin 60 (speed limit) and this older chevy van with some older dude in it goes from behind me to right beside me. He starts goin by faster, like 75, so I hit it a bit, to see what the car coud do to catch up. Didn't even pass his bumper. Anyway, the guy slowed down, got behind me, honked his horn once, flashed his lights once or so while right on my ***. I slowed back down to the speedl imit pretty much right away after gettin next to him, and I am hopin he didn't take a plate number down or anything. The wierd part was he pulled off the road right after that, and I just drove back....whats the deal?

can people call tickets in on you??

*** I hope not....cheers!

No I don't think people can call tickets in on you, atleast in Virginia...

There was a time on the highway when some person decided to ride on my *** for no reason while i was doing the speed limit in the right lane, then passed me and flicked me off... so I speed up and block this person in for a good 15 miles.. any way the person behind me called the state troopers, and low and behold i get pulled over within 10 minutes... the person had said I tried to run them off the road (i did purposly come a little close to their fender when i passed them, just to be dick)

But the idea behind the story is the cop said he didn't witness it so he couldn't do anything about it. So as far as I'm aware I don't think you have anything to worry about.

hey thanks for replying. I didn't think it was any problem, but just to be safe, we called him in we said there was an erratic driver in a van, and that he had pulled over, and he kinda scared us. lol so we covered our asses pretty well me thinks.

My wheel are eagle alloys series 203. They is nice they look much MUCH nicer new, obviously, mine arn'te looking too bad after a polish. anywho, yah.

thanks and take it easy.

In Colorado people can report aggressive drivers on the high way, I guess if some one was Pi$$ed off enough they can get your tag number. In Florida, It cost a few dollars for a person to look up the info on someone else at the DMV.

yah they can report it, but here, the police office doesn't take your liscense number. They don't even ask for it. Theyj ust ask for a discription of the vehicle, and the officers can't do anything because they didn't actually see it. unless he was an off duty officer???
who knows, but he was driving worse then I was, so i would think we coudl get it thrown out in court.

cheers!

yah I don't know what the hell the deal was! he must've gotten REAL pissed cause he just jetted off to the side of the road, for no real apparent reason. He was a wierd guy. Actually he could have very easily passed me, seeing as that it was a 2 lane highway, and that I slowed back down. He was just being an *** me thinks, since we haven't recieved any phone calls from officers, or anything in the mail to my friend or to myself. He was just dumb.....oh well!

cheers ya'll

yeah, I had someone call the cops and report my plate numbers. Not for driving... for other bad bad things that involve breaking very large, inflatable snow men. I was the driver of the get-a-way car. didnt get that far. Police were at my house in 10 mins.

I guess you're right... but so far they have done nothing good for me.

They just make me somewhat paranoid, but for the most part I'm not doing anything illegal (other than speeding once in a while)

paranoid is an understatement.

It's understandable to have a dislike for those who are enforcing the laws should you become subject to their attention but this isn't really the forum to discuss that especially with such a limited vocabulary.
In the future could people use the "Report to Moderator" function to point out such posts to the mods instead of angrily replying? Thanks.
