Iroc 350 vs Lexus FC430??

Hey guys my friend just got a 92 lexus sc430 automatic and thinks he would be able to take my 87 350 iroc tpi i have a gutted cat, flowmasters, and trans go shift kit with a 700r4 tranny. Idk if thats the exact model but the car has a 4ohc 8 cyl engine. Who do you think would win from a stop to about 70?? Thanks

To 70 I think you will win. They are fast but they are heavy and will not get off th eline like yours will. 70 is a good speed because your TPI will choke pout when he starts to move a bit. I say you win.

I think I've read they'll do the quarter in the mid/high 14s. 300hp unless I'm mistaken but they're pretty heavy. I'd think you could take em if you launch well...

yeah im not planning on racing him till the spring i took my car off the road and budgeted to have 150 a week to dump into my car for mods so i figure im gonna get all the bolt ons done first then do forged interals since my car is up at 98k miles. Its gonna be going back on the road prolly in march or so.

Just race from a stop and practice your launch. And make sure he knows you're stopping around 70mph for whatever reason, otherwise you'll stop and he'll keep going and claim a win I hate when people do that....

I work for toyota (sorry guys, but they are training me ) I know those car are pretty quick, off the line as well...but not quick enough....and with the mods you have and if he is stock...you should have no problem grabbing the win
