My 91' Regal Vs. late 90's prelude

I pulled up next to a newer lookin prelude at a stop light and the road was rain soaked so I knew I wasn't gonna get good traction with my old tires, but I gave her a go when the light turned green and I wound up burning out, and his tires only chirped and we were off. I managed to keep my front end right up with his tail end. But I think if I had gotten a better start I would have won. not bad at all for a 4-door regal limited, 135,000 mi. 3.8L V6. I want a supercharged V6 for it. But I'll just put my money into my 82 camaro and race that around.

You may want to read this..... Neither car is a Thirdgen, never mind a F body. Just pointing you in the right direction is all.

well sh*t I didn't think anyone was gonna jump by bones about it. f%&kin a. you want to hear about a race with my camaro then, here it goes. me and my friend (messing around over a summer) went out to three-mile island, a place where semi's take a break. He had a (at the time brand new) 97' pontiac sunfire GT. 4cl. and we raced, and it was a tie in a nutshell, nobody was declared the winner. we went to see a 1980 camaro race a 1969 chevelle malibu, and they both won and lost just about the same. There is Everybody happy now!!

I agree...

Also racing in the rain is stupid no matter what the circumstances, good use of common sense.
