I was just crusing and i stop at a stop light. then a 360 modena rolled up next to me, so i rev it up to see what he does and he revs it up to, so the ligth turns green and i get away but unfourtunitly he is screwing with me and blows past me

 

You better be packing some heat to beat one of those. They have no toruqe at all but absolutely scream up top.

 

Saw one in NJ in Oct. We were on the highway and I was following a trailer, but it was a very unique site!

 

wouldnt it just be the coolest thing if one of the guys on the board with a fast car actually beat one, it would be such a sit to beat one of those cars.

 

I wanted to race one that was driving beside me but it was in heavy traffic If the road would have been clear I'd try it. Wish I had my camera with me, nice silver one with a guy in his late 40's early 50's driving it.

 

Lots of LS1 guys beat them. There are some pretty cool videos of 4th gens whoopin 355's and 360's.

Just search on the "the one that didn't get away" forum on www.ls1.com. There is a good one of a ZO6 beating a 360 and a heads and cam TA putting a mean beat down on a 355 from a highway roll.

 

I had a freaking Diablo pull up next to me on the highway once but I was in my beater at the time. I tried to pace him but no such luck for the escort...

 

There is also a story of a guy on ls1.com that has a new diablo abd he got into a highway run with a 382 all bore LS1 WS6. It was funny because the guy was like "that car never stopped pulling and we just could not keep up with that bird."
