i was driving home and one of the only nicer fbody's in my town turned outta a parking lot and came up on me fast, and we went from a roll of about 60kmh, he started with his front bumper at about my door. We stayed pretty even until about 160kmh then i started pulling away and when i shut down i had about 2 car lenghts on him.
The whole time I thought i was gonna get owned because i was pretty sure he had a 350 and I have a 87 Iroc with a 305 TPI Auto with smog and ac delete, and headers .

Afterwards i talked to him and his car was completely stock and had a 350. he also mentioned that he had high km's (about 200,00kms) and there were 3 people in his car including him,
Either way its only the 2nd real kill ive gotten in the car so im stoked

 

still all in all good fun. did u see a power difference with the smog and ac delete or any increase in speed btw?

 

i didnt really notice a difference, although headers and no cat made a huge difference

 

yeah mine were already removed when i got the car thats why i was wondering

 

Was it a 350tpi, or tbi?? Just wondering, I guess with his weight and mileage that it could be possible though.

 

It was tpi, thats why im kinda confused

The only other real kill ive gotten was a 92 turbo talon and i was assuming it should have beat me to, so im kinda interested to see what i run in the quarter
