lo3 vs 96 neon
I've got my lo3 with full exhaust and open element. New wires plugs and such. I'm guessing around 200 hp by what people on the TBI boards say. My friend has a 96 neon, its a 4 banger w/ a 5 speed. He's got some breather mods and a pulley. We're going to take them to the dragway soon and see who wins. Any takes on what you think will come out on top?

Even though both are slow the neon is 17 sec + slow to your potential 15's slow. That is a lot of distance inbetween the two cars. You will murder face him.

Dude......You better not have any problems beating a Neon, I raped a R/T in my damned XR5 already, This topic should not have been posted
Yeah, the R/Ts aren't even fast... I spanked one with my LG4
Now, if you haven't seen the car yet and you see SR/T-4 on the side of the car when you pull up to race, just turn around and go home.

well we raced, although we couldnt get to the track. we ran at a place right around a quarter, maybe a littler longer. I beat him. off the line i would get about a cars length on him so he was about 2-4 feet off of my back bumper. Then for the rest of the run thats where he stayed. didnt drop further back or catch up at all. I know I would have done much better with gears and posi.
