Car: 1987 transam
Engine: 383 /w superram
Transmission: 700r4 /w 2800rpm stall
first kill couldnt believe it
first i'll list the engine details
383 10:1 compression superram 30lb injectors s/r torqer heads hooker 2460 headers going into 3inch flowmaster exchaust... 2800rpm stall
cool eh? no actually its running like poo right now the chip is barely tunned the car will only pull up to 3500 then it goes lean..
so i'm reving the motor at a light and this kid pulls up in a 1998 catty.. northstar right? he revs and says lets go i'm like UH YESH!! i must be insane racing a untunned engine but thats beyond the scope of this story.
so the light turns green i brake torq the car to 2300 or so then left off the brake and gun it i spun horridly "dry rotted tires" "stock rearend" i still killed the catty off the line but i had to shut down at 4000rpm or so...
so the kid pulls up at the night light i move over and he says "you know you spun pretty bad through first/second i'm like yes.. then he complimented my rust bucket and went on his way..
and to think this engine is WAY OFF wait until i get the BLMs all on 128 and get pe set in right.. right now the blms are pretty far off from 115 to 140.. "lean" i know..
edit: i was only reving the engine to keep it running it won't idle
what times do you think i would run with this motor? fully tunned

id say with the right gears deep 13s mid 12s if u stiffened your fram prob mid 12s low 12s

yucky time for nitrous didn't build a forged buttom end for nothing... that would be AFTER the computer is tunned of course
200 shot sounds about right.. get me into the 11's.. i just hope i don't get puddle problems like i hear you get with the superram...
