pulled me a 4th gen

driving around in desoto county, and this fourth gen comes around (4th gen camaro) looked all stock, had cowl hood, he revs a couple times, we mess around, and about the time the road cleard out, we slowed to 3-4mph and slammed it from there, it was a roll, true, but, after we gunned it, i hear a "jet plane" sound, and he gains on me, about .5 a length, and after a couple secs, i gain on him, and win off with 1.5 lengths, but i got him to pull over, he was running all stock, with a TE61 turbocharger, and 42lb injectors, not bad, but he was only pulling 7lbs of boost, which was strange for a TE61

What type of Turbo 4th gen are we talking here. Beating a turbo 3.4 I can see. Anything more and I have to throw it out You do realize that a properly tuned turbo'ed LT1 and or LS1 can run 9's and dip into the 8's.

A LT1 or LS1 with 7 psi of boost in the 9's or 8s? I don't think so. 7 PSI may be good for 8-10 mph and a second in the quarter. So a mid 12 running 383 is gonna hang with that. And he may be runnin low 12s for all I know.

With 7psi you are right. I am trying to make a point though. A guy here in our club ran 10psi on his stock LS1 and was running 9.5's at 136. His car was properly set-up of crouse. 7psi on an LS1 should murder any minor (12 sec or not) 383 cross fire. However, anything can happen on the streets.

WOW, I do have to say this is extremely hard to believe...

a 3-4 mph roll (I cant read my speedo under 25) and you took the Turboed LS1 by a car and a half with your crossfire injected 383? Hmm I guess it could happen, just seems weird to me!

I think it was probably a 3.4L...

On another note though, what are your specs on the induction setup?? Tuning changes??
