took down an LS and another third gen
The other night my friend was out driving around in his 03-04 (not sure which) lincoln LS. It's got the V6 in it. He comes over to where I hang out and starts asking me to race. We go out to this flat straight part of road, it's only about 1/8th of a mile but it's the closest we can get to a drag strip around here. we line up and my friend drops his arms to start the race. I absolutly wreck him off the line and just pull on him from there, I was about 2-3 cars ahead by the end.
On the way home this older third gen, berlinetta nose, most likely a v6, starts messing with me, he comes up behind me and swerves in front of me cutting me off. I get next to him and honk 3 times, by the time I was at 80 he was long gone.
overall a good night, I was very pleased with my car.

Good ones....... Do not get your head too big though. You might bite off more than you can chew one day. The 305 TBIs will turn on you and let you down before you know it.

Hey now come on man, TBI's arent that bad. I saw a 92 RS take a S/C 96 Z28 out.....course the dude in the RS added a few cubic inches....about 149 of them
:hail: I personally like playin around in my RS, Ive won some and lost some though.
BTW, dont play with some of the Berlinettas, cause my inspiration on mine was a sleeper type deal, looked like a normal Berlinetta, all the badges and stock look to it but the dude had a built 383 in it. I swear you pulled up beside him and you thought it was the V6 with all the quietness and nothing makin it look racy. Hell, he NEVER popped his hood for anyone. When it was track time, he'd flip the switch and he had instant dual exhaust and man, it would fly. So, Berlinettas can be built for speed and so can RS's, not everyone build Z28's.
