Funniest Excuse for Losing?

I read through posts here once in a while, and theres some pretty damn funny stories.

What I'd like to know, is what the funniest excuse you've ever heard the loser give the winner?

Maybe he just came from the car wash?

Vtec can really not kick in, while it's mechanical, it's not permanent. That is a lame excuse though.

Kid in a civic told me, after racing, that the bungee cord holding his throttle blade came off and that his car got stuck at WOT.

Seen a video of a RX7 lightly modded racing a LX 5.0 mustang with few bolt ons and exhaust. The mustang put a nose length on the RX7 and the kid went nuts! He was complaining about the guy having NOS hidden somewhere so they searched his car. He didnt find anything cuz there was nothing. LOL He goes on saying, the mustang guy had to have something hidden on that car cuz i never ran a catback only 5.0 and have them run me like he did.

LOL some funny stuff.

Have you guys seen the "Confession of a loser" video where the guy in the Camaro loses to a guy in an Acura CL on spray. After the first loss, the excuses start flying. So they race again, and it just gets worse and worse. I think he comes up with like ten different things, it's hilarious.

Then there is what I told a guy and he didn't believe me.

"my car broke half way through".

My other car is a 1991 4 door tempo with a 2.3L HO engine and a 5 speed. It actually ran pretty good at the track, pulled a time of 16.8. A guy in a 1998 honda civic hatchback wanted to race me so we lined up and went. We were neck and neck going down the track and then I saw pretty much every warning light on my dash light up so I shut down. Well oil was spewed all over my engine bay...something blew up. I limped the car back to the coffee shop where we al hang out. Guy came back and said "I totaly beat you down". Then I told him I shut down when the lights lit up cuz my car broke down half way through the race. Guy replied "muh I use that excuse so I know your lying" meanwhile I have my hood open and there is oil and crap everywhere. I got it fixed though...$1200 later.

I first saw it on Honda-tech a couple years back. I know it lives on some site that is a compilation of street racing videos. I'll look for it when I get home if I get a chance tonight. It's hilarious.

Definitely a classic.

I fail to see why someone, upon knowing they had a zillion different things wrong with their car, would actually try to race it, unless they simply wanted to see how BAD the car was running. Unless, of course, there's nothing wrong, he just has a pride complex and can't fathom his mighty LT1 losing to a '*****', and makes up a bunch of stuff to compensate for being rudely slapped with the cold fact he isn't the fastest thing on the street. Whines like a little boy who lost a game of dodgeball or something. Nice car that won, what sort of stuff could it have had to make it that sprightly, besides the laughing gas?

"Whipping?" Oh ***, no wonder you guys hate those kids so damn much.

The car in the confession of a loser video is an Acura CL or TL, I don't remember. It's a luxury car with almost no after market. I think a few companies sell some suspension stuff, headers (it's a V6), exhaust, and maybe some other stuff like pullies or a supercharger.

Anyway, none of that stuff would have made that particular year be able to beat an LT1, the car in the video is using nitrous.
