Let's have some fun around here.

Okay, since things have been a little tense around here for a while I've taken it upon myself to start a fun little activity for everyone.

If you know your wheel horsepower, and the weight of your car, let's find out the power to weigt ratio of everyone's cars. Now obviously, if you use the weight with you in the car, it will make your numbers look a little less impressive, but that won't matter if everyone is consistent.

So here is an example:
Let's say you've got 350 rwhp, and your car weighs 3200 lbs, then your ratio will be 9.142. So that means that for ever 9.142 pounds your car weighs, you are using 1 horsepower to move it.

All you do is divide your weight by your horsepower, 3200/350 = 9.142.

What is your ratio? How does it compare to other people on the board? Factory cars?

Is that with you in the car or not? I find that my car weighs less than factory says that it weighed when I took it to the track.

With me in the car on average. I have gotten it to 3150 (class rules allow me 3150) with me in it, but usually leave some weight in the trunk for traction reasons!

I think I did this wrong. Since it's power to weight, you have to divide your power by your weight, then, the closer you are to 1.0 the better.

My guess is similar to nic's
89 Iroc with AC weighs about 3400lbs i guess
my mods gets me 275 on crank I guess (Feel free to make guesses to this as well)

So taking 20% loss thru the driveline, lets see thats....

3400/220 or so which = a hefty 15.45 lbs/hp

Humm, i need some more mods.

Probably closer to 10, the point I was making is that the airfoil isn't gonna do much for ya.
