Your calling him pathetic, yet he managed to start gaining back at 65? Dont race from a roll, he will have a faster car. Your torque won that race... but 2 cars and he was gaining, means maybe a tenth or two slower in the 1/4, hard to call a car that close to yours pathetic, especially when you see he has a 4 cyl compared to your V8!

hey buddy im 17 and have driven my car a total of 30 miles and its the only car at my house w/ a stick. And i know it was my torque that won the race cause. Im not proud of the length, but ill say yeh my car is pure stock, the golf has minor mods. and hes been driving stick for about a good four years.

Minor mods on an import = stock.

Hey buddy I was 17 once, with a stick and minor mods on my car and pulled off high 13s... Yes thats with about a week driving stick, and the longest trip I made was to the track!

Maybe you shouldnt be racing on public streets if you have such little experience then. Fastest way to get you or worse, someone else killed, way to use your head! I took it to the track, you did it on your street to 80 mph, I can see we have a real winner here.

You thoghyt you would get more respect by making the race look close because you have no experience and your stock, but instead it makes you look like an immature kid who should NOT be racing to 80 mph in front of houses with only driving his car a mere 30 miles. Just dont kill someone else, makes the rest of us kids look bad!

You dont even know the vehicle yet, and you are racing it? I am not trying to be grandpa, but you shouldnt be racing in residential areas either. You have a lot of growing up to do.

i wont i live in the middle of now where i ran the car a full quater mile. There are five house by me, all summer homes except mine.
And one other guy. Yeh i do need to grow up but im still havin fun and honestly i slowed it down before i even hit a quater mile,
I d say we ran a lil better than the 8th. Re iterating there is a full enough view to see anyone coming in the other direction. Pure straight away,

And yes i will admit i am an idiot, but by me good luck finding a cop and keep it slow around turns. another thing 80 by me isn't all that bad,

The idoits are the ones doing 130 past me in ricers. trust me they've been clocked

I never said idiot, I said Immature, and that you are. And 80 on any residential street is just too fast in my eyes. Sure some people do that on the highway, but to me its just not the same.

Oh well makes me glad i dont live out there, but makes me think about the kids doing it near me!
