Two fun ones.

I was out looking for some action and I catch a light with a Firebird behind me. I thought to myself, hmm, maybe he'll be game. So I leave the light in a normal fashion and he ends up getting caught behing one of those Chevy pickups with the 102.9 stickers(J/k). Anyhow I see him making his way through traffic to catch me. He comes flying up a little ahead of me and i see dual exhaust ( ). So I figure I'm about to run an Lt1 (Car was about a 97 model, with the nice chrome wheels). We catch a light next to eachother and I open it up and let him know I definately want some action. He responds with a rumble of sorts (windows up, I can't hear much over an open hedder idle). SO it's a downhill light (fun, fun) and it goes green, I spin as usual, and pull about 5 cars on him till about 70~. I let off and he flys by and then slows down. We pull into a gas station and the two guys get out and we talk, turns out it's jsut a V6 with exhaust ( :bawling: I'm slow!!!). He asks for me to pop the hood so i do, and he's boggled by the 2.8L motor sitting under the hood. He asks what's done to it and I tell him headers and dumps. Anyhow, we're talking and a 5.0 GT pulls up in the station ( :thumb: ). So I figure I'll catch him leaving and give him a go. I bid my new buddies farewell and he pulls out and leaves with a quickness. I follow suit and play catchup (forgot to turbn my lamps on too). I get within about 2 cars of the stang (he was WOT) and I hold it there, unable to pull enough to make it pass him (redlight about 300 yards up). So we catch that light and he doesn't want any (why???). Guess the guy didn't feel comfortable going from a dig. So I didn't get to kill the Stang (Might not have, but it would have been close). Car appeared to have exhaust, was pretty loud at idle. It had Centerlines (damn Stang racecars), and it was a vert. Anyhow, both were fun races. Won one, stayed "even" on another. Glad I bothered burning gas, been ahrd to find races with all the crappy weather lately :thumb:

Sounds like a good night. I havent been able to find anyone to run in quite a long time. Mostly because of the 40 days and 40 nights of rain, LOL. Oh and by the way I just hit you back on that PM. Keep up the good work with that beast of a v6.
