well i've had my 05 gto for about 3 weeks and i've raced a wrx??
it had the high hood scoop like the sti but no badging, and a retarded exhaust, anyway he pulls along side me and revs it hard then nails it just as i was downshifting to 2nd. i was doing about 40mph. he puts about 1 1/2 cars on me as I shifted to second and nailed it I pulled along side him right before i snatched 3rd I was about 1 car ahead of him, after 3rd i pulled away. I let up at 105 and he was about 4 cars behind. I slowed down to see if he wanted to go from a start, and he blew past me and kept going. oh well
next race was a 95 black mustang gt, with some mods, I pulled up to the light and the driver gunned it, so I said lets go. the light turned green he spun his tires and i got a good launch(kept the traction control on) by the end of first i had 2 cars on him, i heard him grab second and spin alittle. I snatched second ran it to 70 and let off it. I had him by about 5 cars. As he caught up to me he said my gto was sick and asked what mods I had
I told him no mods all stock-------400hp baby

yea the 05 gto comes with the 6.0L LS2. i know that the 2004 with the LS1 pulles high 13's around 13.8 im not sure what the 05 gto would pull considering that it has the LS2 with aprox 80 more hp i would say that it would be around 13.5
