This was fun!
I recently bought a 86 z28 with a 350 and a 5-speed tranny. I finaly got the thing timed and all the tweaks worked out. Well I was going down 78 highway when i come up to a red light. This 94 or 95 camaro pulls up beside me. The thing was pretty loud but i did not see any z28 badges. So the light turns green and i put on abought half the accel we were right beside each other. I shifted down into second(the best gear) and floored it to see what this $800 car would do! My head snapped back as i pulled about 2 car lenghts in one gear. Now i know this was a 3.4v6 with probrably just exhaust. But i thought it was pretty good in the fact that my mechanic told me my spark plugs and spark plug wires were not good and my carberator was just plane worn out!
one of the spark plug wires were burned by the exhaust.
