unless your car stalls off the line, or you break something, there is no way you could lose.

What sorta replacement L98 did you get? Did it retain the stock L98 heads and cam?

Im askin the same questions Shifty did..Did you retain the L98heads/cam combo? The jasper rebuild ones arent the same at all.

Anyways, the 5.4L Triton V8's suck badly. They suck at pulling/towing and are super slow. The 99-up Chevy pickups with the LS1 series motors (5.3 actually) will eat them alive....I know from a personal experience, my parents own a 02 Silverado.

Depends what they replaced them with. Typically replacement engine services do not add anything other than stock smooger type heads and cams. Your L98 heads and cam are pretty decent and shoul dhave been re-used on your new motor. Wasn't that an option to you? You save money on a rebuild that way.

What if he has a blower sitting on top like mine

Make him pop his hood to make sure the Eaton is not looking back at you...If not....GO WASTE HIM!!!!!
