lost to a 66 bigblock Malibu

Went to the track last night for some real street drag action.I set up a heads up race with a roller cammed 66 454 Malibu. He had me by about 1/2 a car length but I was gainging on him quick when right before the 1/8 my motor started to backfire and then killed.I ended up braking about half the teeth off of my polymere distributor gear I sill managed to coast to a 13.4 at 65 mph

I have some ported Brodix Track1's and a custom ground Crower solid roller cam. He had ported oval ports and I have no idea of his cam specs. He just told me it was a solid roller.

Be careful , He could be setting you up. From personal experience
of having a BB 66 chevelle I know what they can do regardless of their size. A well setup street BB chevelle can run deep into the 11's without breakin a sweat.

He's going to have to run about as bottom of the 11's as he can. That still might not be enough
