lost to tpi....but not by much
me and two of my friends were bored one night and decided to go out and have a little fun. My friend allen has this 350 S10 that hes been bragging about for months, so we head down to the dog track parking lot, my other friend ryan has this 350 TPI Iroc, so we line up and have our friend kevin in his truck flash his high beams for us to go, i grab instantly and so does allen but ryan ends up going sideways cause he doesnt know how to drive...anyways for some odd reason my tbi grew horsepower that night or something because i stayed right on allens side the whole way through. After that though we decided to head to my old high school because the bus lane is a two lane road, perfectly straight and a little over an 1/8 mile (big school). So ryan and allen go first i flash them to go, ryan pulls him by at least car and half i would say...my turn...i must admit i was pretty nervous, i hate losing. so we line up so i do a little one wheel peel just to be a dumb ***...lights flash, i get the holeshot since i was brake torquing it just a little bit...hits 5 grand shift to 2nd (yes i shift my auto manually) i look over and realize i had him through first and for a breif idiot moment i thought i might actually win...THEN i look over and see the camaro pulling me, look down again, 5 grand shift to drive look over again and hes still next to me...then it stopped, for the rest of the race my nose was right next to the crease of the passenger door where it closes. this was about 10:45 at night so we figure we made enough noise for the night and apparently so did the rest of the town because when me and ryan were getting gas not 1/4 mile up the road all we see are flashing lights and cops everywhere. They see him and I getting gas and just stare at us as they drive by, knew it was but no proof, so at least i beat the cops that night.

That must be one hell of a 305. My 92 tbi bird vs my gta 350 is not even close. The 350 murders the 305.

what have you done to the tbi, because stock to stock the High end tpi cars 305 and 350 about run the same. And the L03 runs well 15's. Did he have a bad tune or just go sideways everytime.
Because if he were to try to get away from the fuzz and your pulling on him he's got problems.
And no i dont condon running away, but tpi cars should be faster than any cruiser. I have seen it done. And interceptor's will murder us but still.
