i roasted a 03 mustang GT

Alright heres the story, im only 15 and have about a month until i get my license, but i couldnt wait, with a 91 rs sittin in my garage welcoming me to a fun-filled late night cruise. so of course, i took the car out with a couple of buddies and im cruisin down the main drag in my town and i pull up beside a late-model chumpstang. he looks over at me and shakes his head and my friends kept telling me to gun it when the light turns green, so the light turns green and we both trompted on it and i layed about 10 feet of rubber and i slowly start to pull away from him. I get about half a car length on him and we roll up on a cop so we both backed off.
i am now hooked on camaros . now when my dad says i cant handle a camaro for my first car. i'll know i can

 

Now just convince your dad you can handle a supercharger too...
Btw, if its not its a damned good kill for the RS, do u really have a 406 dropped in the camaro?

 

just one would of advice make sure there are no cops around when you race i got my license took away for a year and let me tell you when your 19 and cant drive it SUCKS!! the past year has been hell try having your mom take you places like work and stuff i am sooooooo happy i'll be geting mine back next week

 

i can not wait to drive this.

no what you just did is prove to your dad your to immature to drive a camaro . why would you race your camaro with a bunch of friends without even having a license much less on a main drag. you my friend is one dumb butthole . thats all you really need get into an accident without insurance or a license. . just wanted to let you know how screwd you can get.

yeah racing with friends isnt the best thing to do but it happens. try and be careful with what you do... that car must be a pretty quick car so go easy on it... take your time with it as you are a younger driver

lol and becareful what you post here......make sure your dad doesnt find out about it...like mine did. he knows i have street raced and doesnt like it but still trusts me to be safe in it and i only raced in the remote and safest of conditions and have kept the races very short... you can tell if your gonna win or not gonna have a chance... i only had 2 long races that went over 80mph...

the rest were over before i knew it..i either immediately pulled or got pulled... no point in continuing the inevitable (sp?)

if you have a 406 why are you wasting your time on 03 GT ...you should have just rolled your eyes back and shaken your head...you ONLY got 1/2 a car and you have a 406??? you should have destroyed him if he was even close to stock

forgot to put irresponsible, as your responsible for those lives you take with you when you go, so that means all your friends that are in your car as long as theyre in your car your responsible, thats why when i race i have no girl with me no friends only me and him a starter and a finisher or if its on the street just me and him if he has a passanger i wont go unless i know i will beat him so quick the race doesnt exceed the speedlimit. im off my soapbox now

 

No, your dad should buy you NOTHING. 15 years old racing with friends? Your first car? Your too young and imature to even have a clue how to drive. Yes you can push the pedal to the floor, but you can't drive. Grow up and learn how to DRIVE on public roads with the rest of the public.

 

15, drag racing in a vert, with passengers, ...youll be lucky to see 20...

 

Buddy basically summed it up the best. Just going straight doesn't mean you can handle a car. You have a lot to learn in a car like that. I suggest you wait until you get your license before responsible drivers have to pay more for un-insured motorist claims. You should take that car and practice at the drag strip where you won't hurt anyone else but yourself. That way when the rear gets away from you and you hit the fence an ambulance will already be present to scrape your skull off the track.
