So this guy rolls into the cruise in tonight with a blue 05 vette, bone stock talked to him for awhile real cool guy so long story short we leave the show about the same time i pull up on him at a light down the street....no traffic behind us none in front of us and its a 3 lane straight stretch for a good 3 miles. Light goes he takes off on me then slows down so i'm next to him and i take off then slow back down, get to the next light he looks over and goes lets see what kinda nuts that things got so i take it up to about 3k have the b+m in first light goes i lay it down we're both spinning, him more severe so i go through second and into third barking every one of em....I'm about a half car on him listening to his shifts just as i'm going for od he goes into 3rd and jumps one on me then 5th and so on and basically pulls 8 cars on me real quick.
I get into the turn lane to pull into the neighbor hood and he follows me in. goes man i didnt think your was gonna launch like that was real suprised there so he kinda blamed his not blowing me out of the hole on being distracted..I go i know this moves but i thought you were gonna have me right away, i go yea good run man, and openly admitted he wasted my *** pretty bad. Definately had the neighbors attention pulling in though
SO then my girl friend pulls up and she goes who's this and he introduces himself and goes yea he just smoked my vette down tower and winks at me i'm like oh jeez i'm gonna here about this one..He leaves my girl kinda chewed me a new one as i promised her my racing days were done and then goes " you really smoke that thing thats like a 50k dollar car?" I go um well i dunno

Man I'd love to drive one of those new vettes.. I've driven a C5 and it was pretty sweet.

 

the new ones ride like a cadillac should!
Accelerate like the old ZO6 but are smoother and the rear end stays a lot tighter to the ground.
