I was checking out this honduh s2000 message board when I saw this guy who posted this crap:
I recently purchased a 2004 S2000 and all I can say is WOW! I wanted to address the 0-60 times. Road & Track just did a review of the 2004 and their 0-60 times were 5.8 sec.
I took my car down to the local speed shop. I popped the hood and put in an HKS air intake and Comptech stainless exhaust. Just for good measure, I threw on shocks, dropping the car down a full inch and adding a strut brace. All I can say now is...look out. Took it out to the track and did consistent times of 5.2 to 5.3 0-60 times...and spend a grand total of $2K. Now where can I find a good 'vette or M3 to blow into the weeds??
Who here would like to take a crack at this guy and show him some reality??

although 5.3 0-60, thats pretty good, but doesnt mean crap. a 0-150 would be more effective when trying to race a vette, which are in low 4 second territory and M3s are in high 4 second.

Why are you calling it a Honduh, when it's the owner that is a little silly?
In all the articles I read when the S2000 first came out, after market suspension parts actually made the car handle worse.
P.S. I can find a thread just as retarded on this board for every stupid thread you can find on any other board, I'll start with this one.
P.S.S. What exactly is unrealistic about his post? Besides the beating a Vette and M3 (year dependant) of course.

Message forums are full of people who have a false sense of what they can and can't beat. No one should get upset by posts like that. This isn't really 3rd gen related.
